RAA tables the AAR 2016 and six performance reports in the Parliament
The Royal Audit Authority tabled the Annual Audit Report 2016 and six Performance Audit Reports to the Parliament on 13th June 2017. The reports were submitted to the Druk Gyalpo, the Prime Minister and the Parliament in accordance with Article 25 (5) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan and Chapter 6, Section 72 of the Audit Act of Bhutan 2006.
The following reports were tabled during the morning session of Parliament and Press Release Statements were also issued in the afternoon at the RAA Conference Hall, which was attended by ten Media Houses:
a) Annual Audit Report 2016 (Dzongkha & English);
b) Performance Audit Report on Tourism Sector, December 2016;
c) Performance Audit Report on Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited, January 2017;
d) Performance Audit Report on Employment Generation and Promotion Initiatives, February 2017;
e) Performance Audit Report on Provision of Patient Meals, May 2017;
f) Performance Audit Report on School Feeding Programme, May 2017; and
g) Performance Report of the Business Opportunity and Information Centre (BOIC) 2017.
