Training on Auditing from Gender Perspective
The Royal Audit Authority is conducted in-house training on ‘Auditing from Gender Perspective’ for
42 auditors. The two days training highlighted gender issues at international level and covered
issues reported by studies in Bhutan besides covering important topics including gender equality and
equity. It also introduced how the gender mainstreaming concept can be incorporated into auditing
and how auditors can be gender sensitive while carrying out audits.
The training on Auditing from Gender Perspective was identified for the financial year 2017-2018
and delivered by in-house resource persons from 17 th to 21 st July 2017.
