Cooperative Performance Auditing of SDGs Programme
Four officials of the Royal Audit Authority are participating in the preparatory and audit planning meeting for the “Cooperative Performance Audit of Preparedness for Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. Sonam Wangmo, Deputy Chief Auditor participated as mentor from 2nd to 8th December, 2017 for the first group, she was also part of the mentor team that had provided support during the eLearning course. The meeting for mentors and experts reviewed and provided feedback to Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) teams on their audit plans.
The other three officials are participating as a team from SAI Bhutan in the second group and will be developing audit plans for the ISSAI based cooperative performance audit on preparedness for implementation of SDGs programmes from 11th to 15th December 2017. This cooperative audit is a key component of the IDI-KSC programme on “Auditing SDGs”. The workshops are being held at the International Centre for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED) in Jaipur, India.
The workshops conducted in two batches were attended by a total of 27 audit teams from SAIs of 27 countries.
