Draft Guidelines for Fixation of Accountability for the Audit observations

The RAA has drafted ‘A Guidelines for Fixation of Accountability’ for the audit observations. It has been developed in order to promote transparency, fairness and objectivity by applying uniform and consistent approach in holding the officials/Contractors/Consultant accountable for audit observations raised by the Royal Audit Authority.

One of the important features of the draft Guidelines is that it contains procedures for fixing ‘accountability’ to contractors and consultants (Annexure A) and for Performance Audits’ recommendations.

The Draft Guidelines has been posted in the website as exposure draft for public comments and views so that the same can be assimilated in order to improve the Guidelines. The RAA aims to implement the guidelines at the earliest.
