DNP conducts e-GP Training at PDC

The Department of National Properties (DNP) is organizing a three-day ‘Electronic Government Procurement’ (e-GP) training at the Professional Development Centre, Royal Audit Authority, Tsirang.

The e-GP is a web-based system through which the procuring agencies shall perform their procurement related activities. The stakeholders include individuals, bidders/consultants, procuring agencies, payment service providers, development partners and they will require dedicated administrators for access and operations.

The training is part of DNP’s efforts to train users before fully implementing the system. This is the first of three phases of the project which aims to enhance efficiency and ensure transparency in public procurement.

The training from 3 to 5 December 2018 was attended by officials from Dzongkhag Administrations of Tsirang and Dagana, Gewog Administrations under Tsirang Dzongkhag, Office of the Assistant Auditor General, Tsirang, and also from the Professional Development Centre. Similar training were conducted for all ministries, 11 autonomous agencies and 18 Dzongkhag Administrations.
