RAA presents AAR 2017 to PAC and other MPs
The Auditor General led a team from the RAA to present the Annual Audit Report 2017 to the Public Accounts Committee and other Members of the Parliament on 7 December 2018. The presentation covered the core content of the AAR 2017, its status updates and recommendations for further actions. The presentation followed by a robust discussion on audit findings and issues are aimed at informing the Parliamentarians on the irregularities reported in the AAR 2017 and clarifying any doubts related to the issues reported.
The AAR 2017 was submitted to His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo and tabled in the parliament on 19 June 2018. The report will be reviewed by the Public Accounts Committee and presented to the Parliament for deliberation in the next Parliamentary Session’s Joint Sitting of the National Council and National Assembly in January 2019.
