RAA continues Audit Awareness and Advocacy Programme
The RAA embarked on yet another phase of audit awareness and advocacy programme to sensitize its stakeholders on RAA’s role in promoting economy, efficiency and effectiveness in the use of public resources. In continuation to earlier programmes, the current phase aims to sensitize more number of students who are the future leaders who will shape the future of the Nation.
The Auditor General accompanied by senior officials conducted advocacy programmes at Phobjikha Central School, Samtengang Central School and Bajo Higher Secondary School under Wangduephodrang Dzongkhag and conducted similar programmes at Dashiding Higher Secondary School, Tashidingkha Central School and Dechentsemo Central School under Punakha Dzongkhag.
The team also met with the people of Gangteng and Nyishog Gewogs under Wangduephodrang Dzongkhag to talk on the concept of Citizen Participatory Audit and met with the employees of Agriculture Research and Development Center, Bajo, Wangduephodrang as well.
The program started from 23rd April 2019, and ended on 27th April 2019.
