Joint Auditor General leaves the RAA to assume the post of the Commissioner of ACC
On his new appointment as the one of two new Commissioners of the Anti-Corruption Commission on 31st July, 2015 by His Majesty the King, Jamtsho, the Joint Auditor General today left the Office of the Auditor General, Royal Audit Authority to formally assume his new post. Last evening in a farewell meet, the RAA family bid farewell and offered best wishes for his future endeavors and successful term as the Commissioner.
Jamtsho started his career as a trainee officer in the Royal Audit Authority in 1993. In his 22 years of service with the RAA, he served as the Audit Officer, Senior Audit Officer, Deputy Chief Audit Officer, Chief Audit Officer and gradually rose to the post of Deputy Auditor General in February, 2011. In January 2015, he was promoted as the Joint Auditor General, second in command after the Auditor General. He has a Masters in Chartered Management from Emily Wools College, London. He is also the recipient of the institutional Druk Thuksey award given to the RAA by His Majesty the King on the National Day of the year 2012.
