The RAA’s webpage is a crucial platform to disseminate information and keep informed our employees, stakeholders, peer organizations and parties on our mandates, roles and responsibilities and new developments. It is a medium through which the RAA enhance its internal and external communications and actively engage in exchanging constant dialogue aimed towards promoting the good governance in the society. Besides, it is expected to communicate effectively on our day to day works including audit results to the citizens at large.

RAA draws its profound inspiration from the very strong moral authority of our visionary Monarchs, the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck and His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. The exemplary leadership of our Kings is the yardstick for us to measure our progress. It is the collective virtue of every individual and principle-centered leadership that can build a trustworthy system. An incorruptible system is the foundation stone upon which the nation can truly achieve the visions of our beloved Monarchs.

Every public entity has a fiduciary role to achieve economy, efficiency and effectiveness in their operations and in the use of public resources. The RAA as a watchdog is entrusted with a huge mandate to audit and report on 3Es and contribute towards enhancing good governance in the society. Since its establishment as the Supreme Audit Institution, RAA has strived to enhance good governance through a primary role of auditing and reporting. In line with this broad mandate, the RAA aspires to be a premier audit institution that promotes good governance in the society.

Accountability and transparency in the public sector operations are the pillars of good governance. To contribute towards enhancing accountability and transparency, the RAA aspires to propound and instil the sense of accountability and transparency across all public sector entities. To audit without fear, favour or prejudice, the RAA will exemplify by ensuring highest standards of integrity, ethics and conduct of its employees.
