A Tribute

Translation in English

The Auditors of the Royal Audit Authority would like pay our tribute to founding members of Royal Audit Authority, the former Auditor Generals of Bhutan i.e. His Excellency Lyonpo Sonam Tobgay, the Hon'ble Chief Justice and His Excellency Lyonpo Wangdi Norbu, the Hon'ble Finance Minister. The tribute is in a form of Poem expressing our deep feelings to Your Excellencies.

As per ancestor Buddha's predestination;
In the centre of Audit Office;
There lived all fortunate Auditors;
And came two wise Ministers;
To show right track to Auditors;
In the year Nineteen Eighty;
Audit independence was then established;
At last Auditors were advised;
And achieved the Audit goals;
These common jewels of ours;
Neither exists in the past;
Nor will follow in future;
We all genders of Audit;
Will pray for long life;
Of two former Auditor Generals.
