A total of 26 supervisory and operational officials – 11 officials in the first batch and 15 officials in the second batch from RAA Head Office and Regional Offices had attended the training on “Advance Office Management” at Institute for Management Studies Limited (IMS) in Serbithang. The training was for three weeks. The training was provided in line with the in-house training schedule of RAA.
The Deputy Auditor General, DFR&HRM as representative of Auditor General attended the closing ceremony of the 2nd Batch which concluded on 25th April 2017. He thanked the IMS and said that this would be the starting journey of cooperation between the two institutes, and looking forward to work with IMS particularly in imparting the trainings to the officials of RAA henceforth.
The training covered a wide range of aspects such as telephone etiquette, handling complaints and difficult clients, understanding the concept and importance of client care, effective communication for client care, team building, time management, record management and developing positive attitude among others.
The participants were optimistic that after training such training would enable them to develop a positive manner of interaction with their clients as well as enhance their service delivery.
