The RAA conducted its 21st Year End Planning & Coordination Meeting for 2024-2025 at its Professional Development & Research Centre in Tsirang on 12-13 June 2025. The meeting discussed various agendas which includes reviewe of its strategic plan 2020 – 2025 and discussed its draft strategic plan 2025-2030 in addition to discussion on the next year’s Annual Operational Plan 2025-2026 & endorsement of Annual Audit Schedule 2025-2026. Further, the meeting deliberated on the identified Audit Thrust areas, Remote Audit Guidelines, RAA’s client satisfaction survey documents, Dzongkha Development strategies, status on Audit Staff Welfare Scheme, etc.
The Performance Compacts were also signed between the Auditor General and Deputy Auditor General for departments and between Deputy Auditor General between the Deputy Auditors General & Assistant Auditors Generals for respective divisions and regional offices.
The oath-taking for new employees, award of promotion orders for July 2025 promotees, and RAA’s Annual Awards ceremonies were also conducted during the meeting. Presentations on the Best Audit Reports, Significant Audit Observations, Best Research Paper, were also made.
Prior to the commencement of the Year End Planning & Coordination Meeting, RAA conducted two days in-house training on Data Visualization using Power BI at PDRC dated from 09-10 June 2025 and a total of 126 auditors attended the training.
