The Royal Audit Authority (RAA) inaugurated an inclusive facility at its Professional Development Centre (PDC) in Tsirang on 30th November 2022. The training center was retrofitted with funding support from the Austrian Development Agency and the facilities in PDC are now accessible to everyone, including Persons with Disabilities. Modifications, handrails and tactile floorings were added and effected to training rooms, hostels, computer lab, dining rooms, washrooms and entry/exit doors. The retrofitting works was carried out at the cost of Nu.3.8 million. With modification of the infrastructures, the RAA aspires to provide a conducive learning environment for training participants with disabilities at the PDC. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Gerhard Adam, Head of Austrian Coordination Office, Thimphu.
