The Dasho Auditor General visited the Office of Assistant Auditor General–Samdrup Jongkhar on 26 May 2026. The visit formed part of Dasho’s programme to attend the Passing-Out Parade Ceremony of Gyalsung Cohort 1 of 2026 at Gyalsung Academy, Pemathang, Samdrup Jongkhar.
During the visit, Dasho interacted with the staff of OAAG–Samdrup Jongkhar and reviewed the current follow-up status of pending audit observations under the office. Dasho also discussed the way forward with the officials.
Further, Dasho awarded the Civil Service Silver Medal to officials namely Mr. Chimi Dorji, Assistant Auditor General, and Mr. Jigme Thinley, Sr. Auditor II, in recognition of their dedicated service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum and also issued promotion order of Mr. Jigme Thinley.
