The Hon’ble Auditor General inaugurated the Druk Thuksey Display at the entrance lobby of the Royal Audit Authority (RAA) Headquarters. The display has been prominently installed to serve as a constant reminder that the RAA is the first institution in the Kingdom to be conferred the Druk Thuksey, the highest institutional honour bestowed by His Majesty The King.
The display stands as a lasting symbol of this extraordinary recognition and reflects the immense trust and confidence reposed in the RAA. More importantly, it reminds every employee of the responsibility that accompanies this prestigious honour and inspires them to continually uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and excellence in carrying out the constitutional mandate of the Authority.
As part of the inauguration, an 18-inch half-gold statue of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal was also installed alongside the Druk Thuksey insignia. The statue has been dedicated for the continued well-being, prosperity and success of the RAA, its employees and all those who have served the institution over the years.
The Hon’ble Auditor General expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all benefactors and contributors whose generosity made the installation of the statue possible. He paid special tribute to the employees of the RAA, whose collective contributions formed the foundation of this initiative, demonstrating their deep sense of ownership, loyalty and pride in the institution. He also acknowledged the generous support of former employees, whose continued bond with the RAA reflects their enduring commitment to preserving its legacy and values.
The RAA sincerely thanks every benefactor and contributor for helping create a meaningful space that not only commemorates one of the institution’s greatest milestones but also serves as a lasting source of inspiration for present and future generations of auditors to honour the trust placed in the Authority and strive for excellence in public service.
