The Royal Audit Authority (RAA) successfully concluded its one-month internship programme for five students from the Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology (GCIT) on 31 July 2026 with an Internship Closing Event held at the RAA Conference Hall.
As part of the programme, the interns demonstrated the Correspondence and Dispatch Management System (CDMS), a digital solution developed during their internship with the RAA, alongside the Knowledge Management System (KMS), which they had developed earlier as part of their academic project. During their attachment, the interns also developed a Learning Management System (LMS) and automated the population of Audit Working Paper (AWP) 5.8: Minimum Audit Procedures, further contributing to the Authority’s digital transformation initiatives. The demonstrations highlighted the students’ technical capabilities and their meaningful contributions towards supporting the Authority’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
The interns also reflected on their one-month attachment at the RAA, sharing their experiences and expressing gratitude for the guidance, practical exposure, and learning opportunities provided throughout the programme.
In his closing remarks, the Hon’ble Auditor General, together with the RAA Top Management, commended the interns for their dedication, professionalism, and innovative thinking throughout the internship. They encouraged the students to continue pursuing excellence, embrace lifelong learning, and apply their knowledge and skills in contributing to the nation’s development.
The Hon’ble Auditor General also presented Certificates of Appreciation to the interns in recognition of their valuable contributions to the Authority during the internship.
The RAA expressed its sincere appreciation to GCIT for its continued collaboration in providing students with practical learning opportunities. The Authority also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening future partnerships with the College through internships, collaborative digital innovation initiatives, and knowledge exchange programmes that foster the development of future professionals.
