A two member delegations from Supreme Audit Institution (SAI), Bhutan led by Mrs. Chhoden, Deputy Auditor General from RAA are currently attending Assembly organized by Chair of the INTOSAI WGEA, SAI Finland and hosted by SAI Malta. There are forty-two SAIs with 115 participants attending the assembly.
The INTOSAI WGEA Assembly features sessions on the marine environment, drinking water, droughts and desertification alongside public expenditure on the environment. The assembly also include parallel projects and methods workshops focusing on the WGEA work plan projects. The meeting will also discuss on the current works plan activities of the WGEA, activities for the next work plan period and other topical WGEA matters such as WGEA award and new chairmanship.
Alongside with sharing knowledge and discussing important environmental auditing issues, the meeting will also introduce a new event for young environmental auditors during the 23rd Assembly to encourage knowledge-sharing and cooperation among young professionals.
The Assembly will end on 3rd July 2025.
