Fourth Tripartite Meeting Amongst ACC, OAG and RAA Convenes at Professional Development Centre (PDC), Tsirang

TheAnti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Office of the Attorney General (OAG), andRoyal Audit Authority (RAA) are jointly conducting the Fourth Tripartite Meeting at the Professional Development Centre, Tsirang,from28–30 January 2026, with the participation of around 40 officials from the three agencies.

The forum aims to strengthen inter-agency coordination and enhance institutional collaboration in areas of audit, investigation, and prosecution. The three agencies exchanged views and deliberated on a wide range of agenda items, serving as a platform to strengthen collaboration, review progress, and deliberate on emerging issues of accountability, enforcement, and institutional coordination. Key agenda items included the review of past resolutions, implementation status of the TRUST system, prosecution and money laundering issues, the need for rapid response during audit processes, legal and procedural challenges, and the way forward for implementing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for MOP.

A key outcome was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among the three agencies, reaffirming their commitment to coordinated action, enhanced accountability, and effective delivery of justice in Bhutan.

The tripartite platform continues to serve as an important forum for constructive dialogue, experience sharing, and aligning institutional efforts towards promoting accountability, transparency, and effective justice delivery.
