A four-day capacity development program on Hospitality and House Keeping for staff of the RAA’s Professional Development Centre in Tsirang was conducted to enhance the skills & competency of the PDC staff managing the Centre.
The training aimed to introduce the centre’s working staff to the concept of ‘hospitality’ and to basic components of the hospitality industry, as well as to provide knowledge, basic skills and hands-on practicals for various services. The training also covered the relationship between guest satisfaction and employee responses while providing services.
The program included both theoretical and practical sessions, allowing the participants to gain hands-on experience. The program concluded a field trip to the Royal Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Thimphu. The training was conducted from 02 to 05 August 2023 at the PDC.
