Royal Audit Authority Participates in the 1st Green Bridge Forum

The Royal Audit Authority is participating in the 1st Green Bridge Forum, hosted by the State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand from 21–23 July 2026 in Pattaya, Thailand.

The Bhutanese delegation is led by the Auditor General, who delivered a keynote address titled “SAI Leaders’ Green Bridge: Reflections on Environmental Auditing and Sustainable Governance.”

In his keynote address, the Auditor General highlighted Bhutan’s commitment to environmental conservation and shared lessons from the Royal Audit Authority’s environmental audits. He emphasised the importance of focusing on sustainable outcomes, leveraging reliable data and emerging technologies, and strengthening collaboration among Supreme Audit Institutions through the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA).

The Forum brings together Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions, senior government officials, international organisations, experts and development partners to exchange knowledge and strengthen cooperation in environmental auditing and sustainable governance.

RAA’s participation in the Forum reaffirms Bhutan’s commitment to international collaboration, knowledge sharing and promoting environmental accountability through public sector auditing.
