Royal Audit Authority Conducts First Quarterly Meeting in Phuentsholing

The Royal Audit Authority (RAA) convened its First Quarterly Meeting on 25 September 2025 at the Office of the Assistant Auditor General, Phuentsholing. The session was graced by the Auditor General, who commenced the meeting with the offering of butter lamps and prayers for the long life and wellbeing of His Majesty.

The meeting primarily reviewed the progress and achievements of planned activities for the first quarter of the financial year, ensuring that targets remain on track.

On the occasion, the RAA also launched its Annual Audit Report 2024–2025 for internal use, while the official launch will be made once the report has been submitted to the Parliament. Dasho Auditor General has also awarded certificate to Mr. Lhakpa who had completed his PESA (Professional Education for SAI Auditors) course. The meeting was attended by the Auditor General, Deputy Auditor Generals, the Assistant Auditor Generals, and other relevant officials.
