Chimi Dorji, DAG appointed as the new Zhemgang Dzongdag

His Majesty The King granted Dhar to Chimi Dorji, Deputy Auditor General of the RAA and appointed him as the new Zhemgang Dzongdag.The RAA family wishes Dasho Chimi Dorji heartfelt Trashi Delek and congratulations on his appointment as the Zhemgang Dzongdag and wish him many more successes.

Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Deputy Auditor General for the Department of Follow-up and Regions (March-November 2020) and the Department of Performance & Commercial Audits (2016-2020). He also served as the Assistant Auditor General for other Divisions including the General Governance Division (2014-2016), Office of Assistant Auditor General, Samdrup Jongkhar (2011-2014) and the Performance and System Audit Division (2009-2011).

Mr. Chimi Dorji joined the Royal Audit Authority in 1998 as a Senior Auditor having been inducted into the civil service in 1996 through Royal Civil Service Commission Examination. He holds Master of Business (Advanced Accounting) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia, a Post Graduate certificate in Financial Management and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Honours) from the Sherubtse College, Kanglung, Trashigang.

He hails from Gangzur, Lheuntse.
